I remember wanting to be a hairdresser from a young age. When I left school, I chose to study hair and beauty at college, however I quickly realised that hairdressing was where my own interest lay. I wanted to get the best training possible and was lucky enough to secure a position at a premium salon in Lewes, who offered me the opportunity to train via their in-house training academy.
Everyone in the salon had trained through the academy, and standards were extremely high. As well as gaining valuable skills and experience, it kick-started my passion for hairdressing and my love of variety in my work and meeting new people.
As well as learning the foundations of my trade and the right skills, working in an incredibly busy and well-regarded salon gave me an opportunity to work alongside a team of senior stylists – all of whom had developed a loyal base of clients who trusted and really loved being looked after by them. It really was the best way to learn.
When I set up my own business in 2014 as a mobile hairdresser in Brighton and Hove it was my aim to offer a truly personal, quality service to people in their homes. Modern life can be hectic, and not everyone can take the time out to visit a salon, or are organised or able to book an appointment many months in advance which is often the case in a salon.

I have built up a loyal client base of people who want a salon-quality finish, but who appreciate the flexibility of me visiting them at home. I look after women, men, children (of all ages!) – even fussy teenagers! Read some of my testimonials here.
I have maintained a consultative approach that I learnt many years ago – talking to people about their ideas and what they want from their hair style and giving them what they really ask for. My services range from cutting, colour and styling and I love talking to people about new ideas and different options.
